PBT engineering plastics are widely used in electronic and electrical components, such as connectors, transformers, fuse housings, switches, relays, energy-saving lamps, coil frames, connectors, etc. Plastic components in electronic devices can cause local overheating and can lead to combustion, short circuits and leakage under overload conditions. Therefore, the fire risk of plastic parts must be reduced. Among them, glow wire ignition temperature (GWIT) is an important indicator to measure the ignition safety of plastic components.
