Plastic products PP, PE, PET tableware, knives and forks should adopt strict color requirements, and plastic colorants should comply with the provisions of FDA Rule 21CFR 178.3297: The amount of colorants of polymers in contact with food will not cause any color effects of food on the naked eye. Colorants should be used under GMP conditions and their dosage shall not exceed the reasonable dosage required to achieve the coloring effect. This adjustment gives the allowed colorant and its limited dose in the plastic article in the list of allowable substances. Requirements for optical whitening agents and fluorescent sunscreens are not included. The color matching products are FDA certified.
