Flame Retardant Additive Masterbatch for Various Resin Systems

Runpacet flame retardant concentrates are suitable for extrusion coatings and other high-temperature applications, with no blooming, excellent thermal stability, and UV stability. They also do not adversely affect the sealability of films. A high-concentration, non-halogenated flame retardant based on copolymers is also available.

Other options include polypropylene-based masterbatches compatible with PP and PE resins. Black formulations are suitable for flame-retardant pipes, telecommunication cables, and corrugated tube products requiring long-term UV stability.

The addition level of the flame retardant masterbatch is a critical technical parameter. Excessive or insufficient amounts can negatively impact corrugated tube performance. Overloading may reduce fluidity and cause molding difficulties, while underdosing may fail to achieve desired flame retardancy. Proper dosing not only enhances flame retardancy and safety but also optimizes physical properties and processability.

Flame retardant masterbatch is suitable for PP filling flame retardant V0 system and is recommended for talc powder filling flame retardant. It is difficult to achieve V0 without filling system.
